Sundance screening of "I Ride Park City"
Today's bluebird day reminded me more of March than January, the temperatures were pretty mild. It was one of those perfect park days, the ones you usually dream about until March or early April. As you know, King's Crown opened last week. I know all of you read Matt's post on how to Smart Style it, if you didn't read it yet, do it now. The only thing left at this point is upper Jonesy's. Thanks park crew for all of your hard work so far! Now that the mountain and parks are open it's time to get your shred on! Well, your shred on and of course checking out of the events we have planned for the next few weeks.
In Sundance fashion, we are very excited for our own film, "I Ride Park City" to be one of 30 films chosen to be a part of the X-Dance Film Festival. Are you an awesome photographer or a rad rider looking for your chance to show the world your skillz? Send me some photos and I'll post them here (and even give you photo/rider credit)! I reserve the right to deny your shots based on radness, skillness and just plain smartness. email@example.com
I'm thinking this is enough for this blog post, but I haven't even gotten to the events we're hosting at the resort in the next few weeks....I guess you'll have to stay tuned! If you absolutely can't wait and must know more RIGHT NOW check out our events calendar at www.pcride.com.
The Sochi Games are just days away, and while we'll be rooting hard for every Team USA athlete - from the curlers to the figure skaters - we'll be cheering especially hard for 2 athletes in particular: because they're our very own! Slopestyle snowboarder Sage Kotsenburg and slopestyle freeskier Joss Christensen are both Park City locals and both part of "I Ride Park City" All Stars. Both will be in medal contention, and we couldn't be prouder to have them as representatives to the world both of our mountain and their hometown of Park City.
The Pole Jam will let you get silly in every which way.
We open November 23rd and we hope you guys are ready to shred! Come check out the sweet features this weekend off of 3 Kings Lift. It's all about those early season hammers!
We saw too much style from the skiers in the park last year to not give them their due. They grab the spotlight in the "IRPC" sequel's premiere outdoors and under the stars September 14.
It's event seaosn. Our first two events are paying out cold, hard cash. Get up here and get paid.
End of the season bangers with Scott Stevens, Mark Edlund Alex Sherman, Alex Rodway, Knut Eliassen, Jordan Morse, Dylan Thompson, Nate Bozung, Spencer Schubert, Kazu Kokubo, Mike Rav, & Brandon Hobush
Last fall many of you may have come up to Park City for the premiere of I Ride Park City. I was there, it was an awesome time. The film is unique in the sense that it was filmed entirely at one mountain...Park City Mountain Resort
