Day 1 Comes to a Close
As the sun set beautifully over the Wasatch Mountains, our Eagle Superpipe was the scene of some equally amazing riding.
Maddie Bowman of the U.S. led the way for the ladies, finishing with a score of 92.2, and sharing the podium with the French duo of Marie Martinod and Anais Caradeux.
In the men's field, it was the other way aroud as Frenchman Kevin Rolland had the high score with a 94.4 to win over Americans Alex Ferreira and Lyman Currier.
It was an great day of competition in King's Crown and the Eagle Superpipe in the Visa U.S. Fressking Grand Prix and we look foward to more tomorrow - including the naming of the first ever U.S. Freeskiing Olympic Team. We hope to see you here!
Day One Halfpipe Results:
A $50 million plan that links two of the best places to shred in North America and creates the largest resort in the United States - more than 7,300 acres of rideable terrain! We're also talking a new gondola, two new chairlifts, a brand new restaurant and a bunch of other upgrades that will totally change our skiing and riding game. And we're not wasting any time - the plan is to have these upgrades in place for NEXT SEASON.
