Feelin' The Love
Our buds at Transworld Snowboarding hit us up a while back with some great news that we had to keep a lid on for a while. Well, we can finally spill the beans, drumroll please: you’re looking at the #2 overall resort ranking in North America and the #4 spot in their list of best parks for 2013!
It's a huge honor to have these bragging rights and we owe a big thanks to all of you who voted for us in the poll and help spread the "I Ride Park City"love. A lot of hard work and imagination goes into creating our parks and pipe: from year-round park design and construction, to the actual building and daily maintenance, to hosting world-class and local events, and creating and sharing one-of-a-kind images and edits, we like to think "I Ride Park City" is something special. But it's all about you - slaying the parks, getting in the pipe, shredding the mountain and spreading the word.
So thanks! We can hug it out when we open November 17!
3 Kings was set ablaze this past week and the park crew kept us guessing as to what sweet feature would be put in next. Enjoy our 50th opening week!
It was a crazy good time for the opening of Neff Land - check these pix out if you don't believe us.
Saturday evening was a perfect night to grab a chair under the stars on Town Lift Plaza and catch the world premiere of our original snowboard film, "IRPC" - and it turns out a whole lot of you agreed. Chairs went early and our crowd spilled into standing-room-only sections around the plaza deck before overflowing back onto Town Bridge over Park Ave. What a crowd! The film, shot entirely in the terrain parks at Park City Mountain Resort, proves anything is possible when it comes to the creative riding going on here. Did you miss the film's debut, or just can't wait to see it again? "IRPC" will be released in sneak peek edits, once a week through October, right here at the blog before posting in its full length November 1. Check it out!
Utah has always been known as a state that breeds talented rail slayers. The Friday Night Jib Fights series showed that there is no changing of the guard in the future. These kids are determined and know how to drop some hammers.
