Visa U.S. Grand Prix Results

The two plankers got their chance in the Eagle Superpipe today and wow, did they ever show off their skills. The ladies' led things off and the U.S.A.'s Maddie Bowman showed that wins in Copper and XGames were no fluke and took her third straight Gold with a 85.2 on her first run.

The men's competition wound up tightly bunched, with all three men on the podium scoring in the 93's. The U.S.A. got both the top two spots with David Wise showing why he secured XGames gold and scoring a 93.8 and Torin Yater-Wallace just two tenths of a point back at 93.6 France's Kevin Rolland, who always seems to excel in the Eagle Superpipe (finished 2nd in the 2011 FIS World Ski Championships here) was just behind at 93. Every Third Thursday Comes To PC!

Get ready for some HOT snowboard action in this month's Every Third Thursday! Dave Lee and the Signal Snowboards crew get back to the base-ics, experimenting with new technology to actually heat up the base of a snowboard and test out their theory that a hot base will go faster. Dave explains that the snow sliding action actually works from friction heating up the snow and forming a thin layer of water that the board slides on, but what if we speed up that process by incorporating a heat film into the base? Watch as Dave dials the base all the way up to 128-degrees and snowboarder Alex Cato heats up the slopes of Park City Resort.
