Debate no more, this Friday we will determine which resort in Utah breeds the best rail slayers. If you made finals at any of the stops at Snowbasin, Park City and Brighton then you are invited! This Friday's event will see a few changes from the rest. Lots of cheddar is up for grabs, with cash for the AM division and the OPEN division cash is doubled. One lucky contestant will win a camp package to Woodward Tahoe and some hot items will be raffled off.

We want to see you out here representing your home resort and see this battle of epic proportions play out. A year's worth of bragging rights are on the line.

Park City, UT
(March 27, 2012) – Wasatch Mountain rail slayers gather this Friday in Park City, Utah for the finals of the Friday Night Jib Fights (FNJF) rail jam series at Park City Mountain Resort. Nearly 100 skiers and snowboarders have qualified to compete in the finals throughout the 2011-2012 winter season at Brighton, Park City Mountain Resort and Snowbasin Resort. Entrants in the 10th and final stop of the series will compete for over $2,000 in prize money.

“I am extremely impressed with the quality of riding we’ve seen this first season of the Friday Night Jib Fights rail jam series,” said Jeremy Cooper, Park City Mountain Resort terrain park manager. Jared Winkler, Brighton PR and Marketing Manager, added, “I’ve certainly seen Park City and Snowbasin kids travelling the circuit and making appearances at Brighton.  It’s been fun to see all the riders interact with each other and take pride in their home mountain.”

Competition categories are separated by men and women, ski and snowboard, and open and amateur.  Qualified skiers and riders check-in at 4 pm on Friday, March 30, with the event kicking off at 5:30 p.m.  Cash prizes will be awarded for amateur and open divisions and all qualified riders will have the chance to win a camp week at Woodward Tahoe, a pair of Ramp skis or a Ramp Snowboard and several other prizes from event partners including Skullcandy, Bern, Arnette, Bonfire and more.  The event is free for the public to come enjoy the entertaining high-level riding of this culminating event of the Friday Night Jib Fights series.

Jason Dyer, PR and Marketing Manager at Snowbasin, said, “We have seen over 500 participants in the first season of the rail jam series. I am extremely excited to see where this series goes in the future.”
